Here at Ellenborough Park, we believe that there is no Christmas better than one in The Cotswolds. Dark Nights and Twinkly Lights

Christmas hasn’t truly begun in the Cotswolds until the place is awash with light. Although residents in the surrounding area do their best to decorate their homes with lanterns and bulbs, nothing quite compares to the delights of the Tewkesbury Festival of Lights, just a 20-minute drive from our hotel, or the Gloucester Lights and Lantern Parade, a further 40-minute drive from us at Ellenborough Park.

Dining with a Difference

Everyone knows that food at Christmas is like no other but no one does it better than our chefs at Ellenborough Park. From traditional roast turkey and crispy potatoes to delicious desserts and a cheese option for after, we have something to satisfy all manner of festive taste buds.

Cotswolds Carol of the Bells!

Christmas in the Cotswolds isn’t complete without the sound of carol singers filling the air and Gloucester Cathedral is home to the best Christmas concert in the land! An evening filled with traditional carols, performances from local primary schools and the award-winning Somerset folk songwriter, Ange Hardy. This concert in aid of Meningitis Now and marks the season of giving and helps to raise money for a very worthy cause.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland…

A 30-minute drive from Ellenborough Park and you will find yourself at The Bird and Deer Park in Prinknash, which turns into a Winter Wonderland throughout December. Filled with Christmas Fairies, festive food and face painting.

Take a Break
