Beverage Options
Choice of beverages is vital when planning the perfect wedding reception, as is deciding upon the right amounts to have available. Too much is not ideal, but too little is far worse!
As part of the service, brides and grooms are invited to visit Ellenborough Park prior to the event for a complimentary food and wine tasting session, so that these vital decisions can be made.
The House Selection
Ellenborough Park is an experienced wedding host and can help couples to determine the right amount of beverages, based on what has worked successfully in the past. The House Selection makes it easy to choose what to order, but with the flexibility to add or change specific items. The selection includes:
- Two reception drinks on arrival, choosing from House Sparkling Wine, Buck’s Fizz, Pimms, Winter Pimms or Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
- Two glasses of House Wine to accompany the Wedding Breakfast
- Still and Sparkling Mineral Water to accompany the Wedding Breakfast
- One glass of House Sparkling Wine for the toast
If a different option is preferred in place of the House Wine or the House Sparking Champagne, couples can choose an alternative from the Wedding Wine List at an appropriate supplement. The hotel’s Head Sommelier will be delighted to assist with this, so that a wine or champagne which complements the dining choices perfectly can be selected.
