Civil Ceremony

Situated in beautiful Cotswolds parklands, Ellenborough Park is delighted to cater for civil ceremonies, civil partnerships and receptions in our range of beautiful rooms or stunningly maintained gardens. We have a variety of enchanting options to cater for all your wedding day dreams, thus making Ellenborough Park the perfect civil ceremony venue near Cheltenham.

The Ellenborough Gallery opens out onto beautifully maintained courtyard gardens to provide the perfect setting for the post-ceremony drinks reception and photographs and is suitable for up to 120 guests.

If you desire an outdoor wedding, our fully restored stone Gazebo is situated in our striking grounds and is licenced for civil ceremonies to take place within the structure itself. The Gazebo is available from May to September for civil ceremonies near Cheltenham, with Ellenborough Gallery used as an alternative venue in the case of inclement weather. 

Within the grand Main House there are two smaller licensed rooms available for civil ceremonies; the Elizabethan and the Royalist, both rooms benefit from original oak panelling and historic features and are ideal if you are hosting an intimate reception in one of the adjoining rooms.

De la Bere Court is another breath-taking option for weddings near Cheltenham, and can cater for civil ceremonies of up to 140 guests. De la Bere Court is also available if you have chosen to hold your wedding reception in one a glorious marquee and have a party of 120 plus guests.
