Where & When
This year’s Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival will take place on the 15th – 17th June. Attendees will gather at Montpellier Gardens, Montpellier Walk, for a weekend of culinary delights. Open Friday 12 – 7pm, Saturday 10am – 7pm and Sunday 10am 5pm, ticket prices range from £4 to £7 depending on day of entry. You can purchase tickets here.
Chef’s Kitchen Theatre
A highlight of the Cheltenham Food & Drink each year is the Chef’s Kitchen. Local chefs from leading restaurants and hotels will pull themselves away from their pride and joy to showcase local and regional food. Expect inspiring demonstrations and plenty of cooking tips and tricks. Friday’s entertainment includes Totally Wild UK and Anneeka Ludhra and Saturday will see BOSH!, Oz Clarke and Jon Howe plus many more. Chef’s Kitchen ends on Sunday with Jenny Tschiesche and many top local Chefs. You can see the full line-up here.
Wine Tastings & Food Talks
Head to the Wine Tasting Sessions and you can hear stories about vineyards from around the world. Whether you have a passion for wine or are just curious for an introduction, all the talks are first come first seated so don’t miss out. As there are too many Sommeliers to list, be sure to look at the full line-up here. There’s even a masterclass from Oz Clarke for £20 per person!
For those who are more inclined towards food than drink, there will also be many food talks at the festival covering subjects such as Whisky and Nutrition – even cheese and gluten free lifestyles. The talks welcome questions from those attending, after all, you’re there to get more information and learn. There are a whole host of talks taking place over the Friday and Saturday so you are sure to find something of interest.
Entertainment & Exhibitors
As always there will be a fantastic array of entertainers. From folk rock to ukuleles, pianists to indie pop there is something for everything. Comedy and theatrics are well represented, not forgetting lots of children’s entertainment too. The Cheltenham Food & Drink festival really does have it all!
