Looking back at our Wedding Showcase
On Sunday 14th October, an excited wedding team put the finishing touches in place at one of the finest wedding venues in the Cotswolds. Why do you ask? It wasn’t for a wedding as you may expect. They were about to welcome 30 brides and grooms to-be into Ellenborough Park.
For many, this would be their first and last venue viewing; the wedding spaces at our Cotswolds hotel captivate all who see them, and with such a fine wedding showcase being held it comes as no surprise to learn that many future Ellenborough couples secured their special dates that day!
With each space dressed to both evoke and inspire, our 16th Century manor house was able to showcase each of the elegant rooms that are licensed for civil ceremonies. Couples could imagine their nearest and dearest, comprised of up to 180 guests, sharing in the happiness of such a special occasion. The following is a roundup of what took place:
Donna of The Flower Studio made sure that all the spaces were decorated in a beautiful autumnal theme. As happy couples explored, they commented at how perfect the setting seemed; brides in particular adored the styling. The wooden chairs were provided by Blue Goose Hire, with Louise Rowles Designs offering stationary. The transformation of event spaces this year featured rustic and earthy tones, perfectly attuned to autumn and aligning with the latest visual trends of the wedding industry.
For a change of pace and to set the scene, we invited Ben Drummond to play in the Gallery. His dulcet tones and soothing guitar were lovely and complemented the happy atmosphere. This addition was something a little different to what the Ellenborough team has done in the past and was a popular choice with our happy couples.
Laura Leigh’s goody bags add an extra special touch for all the brides that came along and included plenty of beauty treats including Kerastase goodies and Clarins minis.
The specially chosen suppliers who showcased at Ellenborough Park are selected for their tried and tested true professionalism, as well as their exceptional products. The happy couples that have enjoyed their services are too many to count. They could be found as couples explored the incredible set up in the Istabraq space, before being shown into Room 40 which is where the bride or groom can prepare the night before the big day. Suppliers who attended included: Donna Beaver of The Flower Studio, Blue Goose Hire, Guitarist Ben Drummond, Photographer Adam Drake, Party Foto Pods, Louise Rowles Designs, Cake Day Dreams, First Dance Discos, Toast Master Howard Jones and Laura Leigh, makeup and hair artist.
We look forward to working with the couples who attended as they plan and anticipate their special day.
