Sezincote House & Batsford Arboretum
Sezincote is amazing! You could easily ask yourself: am in India or Brighton? In fact, both are part of Sezincote’s story. It was built in 1805 and the house and gardens are unusual and breath-taking. There is nowhere else like it and nothing can prepare you for your visit. It is about 40 minutes from Ellenborough Park near the town of Moreton-in-Marsh, which is also worth a visit while you are in Sezincote. Moreton has connections to JRR Tolkien. At present there is no visitor information for Sezincote House but hopefully it will become available. One thing to note there are no dogs allowed at Sezincote House. Batsford Arboretum is also nearby, the home of the Mitford Sisters. Keen gardeners will enjoy the fantastic garden centre on site.
Tickets must be booked in advance., entrance adults £8.95 & children £3. For keen gardens there is also a fantastic garden centre.
